Newton Property Group – Holiday Letting Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Newton Property Group for holiday accommodation, including all properties managed by us.

By making a booking, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

  1. Booking & Payment
    A deposit equal to one night’s accommodation is required within 48 hours of booking to secure your reservation.
    The balance of the total tariff is due 30 days prior to arrival.
    If the balance is not received by the due date, Newton Property Group reserves the right to charge the credit or debit card provided at the time of booking. A 2.5% credit card processing fee will apply.
    Direct deposit payments are available on request for bookings made more than 30 days prior to arrival.
  2. Cancellation Policy
    For cancellations made more than 30 days prior to arrival, the deposit will be refunded less a $50 administration fee.
    For cancellations made 30 days or less prior to arrival, no refund will be given unless the property is re-let for the same period. If the property is re-let, an administration fee will still apply.
    We strongly recommend guests take out travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.
  3. Check-In & Check-Out
    Check-in is from 2:00pm, unless otherwise arranged.
    Check-out is by 10:00am on the day of departure.
    Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request, however this cannot be guaranteed.
  4. Guest Responsibilities
    Guests must leave the property in a clean and tidy condition on departure. Excess cleaning may result in additional charges.
    Any breakages, damage or loss must be reported immediately and may be charged to the guest.
    Furniture and furnishings must not be moved or rearranged without prior approval.
    Guests are responsible for ensuring the property is secure when unattended.
  5. Occupancy
    The number of guests staying at the property must not exceed the number confirmed in the booking.
    Parties, events and gatherings are not permitted unless prior written approval has been provided.
    Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property.
  6. Facilities & Services
    Mobile phone coverage in Mission Beach is generally best with Telstra and Optus. Emergency calls can be made on all networks.
    Internet, pools, appliances and other facilities are provided in good faith. While we will make reasonable efforts to address any outages or breakdowns as quickly as possible, no refunds will be given for unforeseen interruptions outside our control.
  7. Pets
    Pets are only permitted at approved pet-friendly properties and must be approved in writing prior to arrival.
    Additional cleaning charges may apply.
  8. Liability
    Newton Property Group accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to guests’ personal belongings during their stay.
    Guests are responsible for taking reasonable care for their own safety and the safety of all other occupants and visitors at the property.
  9. Breach of Terms
    Failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions may result in immediate termination of the booking without refund. Additional charges may also apply where necessary.
